Kat began singing at seven and spent most of her childhood years performing in numerous shows and productions with various music and drama groups in her local area, as well as competing in talent shows throughout the North West.

Kat studied A Level Performing Arts at Cardinal Newman College in Preston.

Around this time that Kat ventured into her first studio session with producer Gary Hall and began recording a selection of classic acoustic covers and original songs written by fellow musicians.  

Over the years Kat's developed a assion for song writing and has become a singer/song writer in her own right. As well as working with 110^th Street, Kat performs her own acoustic sets across the North West with accompanying musician Ian Bailey.

Kat is currently writing new material, and working with producer Gary Hall and Ian Bailey on her debut album, which is being recorded and produced at the 'Voodoo Rooms' in Ashton, Preston.
