Chris Jopson - Drums

Chris started off playing the piano at seven years old but aged 13 he got a drum kit and never looked back - immediately forming a rock group with two mates.
While still in his teens he joined a function band specializing in 60's and 70's covers and began playing gigs across the North West of England.
After school Chris studied A level music at Newman College and formed a three piece band called Fi-Lo Radio. FLR were together for six years playing hundreds of local, regional and national gigs and supporting bands such as Snow Patrol, Ash and The Coral. Chris twice toured America with Fi-Lo Radio, appeared on television including playing Paul Cook, the drummer of the Sex Pistols on Granada TV. He's also played live for Steve Lamacq and John Peel's Radio 1 shows.
Since then Chris has studied drums at Drumtech in London and Bath Spa University and continued to play and record with a number of different bands, musicians and solo artists. He also teaches drums both in schools and at A & C Hamilton's Music School alongside Craig.
